COOKIES POLICY

  1. The Service does not automatically collect any information, except for the information contained in cookies.
  2. Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the end device of the Service User and are intended for the use of the Service’s websites. Cookies typically contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the end device, and a unique number.
  3. The entity placing cookies on the Service User’s end device and accessing them is the operator of this Service, EUROMART, located at Galaktyczna 31e, 80-299 GdaƄsk, Poland.
  4. Cookies are used to:
    • Adjust the content of the Service’s websites to the User’s preferences and optimize the use of websites; in particular, these files allow recognizing the Service User’s device and appropriately displaying the website tailored to their individual needs;
    • Create statistics that help understand how Service Users use the websites, which enables improving their structure and content;
    • Maintain the Service User’s session (after logging in), so the User does not have to re-enter their login and password on each subpage of the Service.
  5. The Service uses two main types of cookies: “session” (session cookies) and “persistent” (persistent cookies). “Session” cookies are temporary files stored on the User’s end device until logging out, leaving the website, or turning off the software (web browser). “Persistent” cookies are stored on the User’s end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until deleted by the User.
  6. The following types of cookies are used within the Service:
    • “Necessary” cookies, enabling the use of services available within the Service, e.g., authentication cookies used for services that require authentication within the Service;
    • Cookies used to ensure security, e.g., used to detect fraud in authentication within the Service;
    • “Performance” cookies, enabling the collection of information on how the Service’s websites are used;
    • “Functional” cookies, allowing “remembering” the settings chosen by the User and personalizing the User’s interface, e.g., in terms of the chosen language or region the User comes from, font size, website appearance, etc.;
    • “Advertising” cookies, enabling the delivery of advertising content more tailored to the User’s interests.
  7. In many cases, software used for browsing websites (web browser) by default allows the storage of cookies on the User’s end device. Service Users can change their cookie settings at any time. These settings can be changed in particular to block the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings or to inform about them each time they are placed on the User’s end device. Information on how to change cookie settings in the most popular web browsers is provided in the later part of this document. Detailed information on the possibility and methods of handling cookies is available in the software (web browser) settings and in the help files available in the browser’s menu.
  8. The Service Operator informs that restricting the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the Service’s websites.
  9. Cookies placed on the Service User’s end device may also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Service operator.
